Huxley School of Makeup's recent body art photoshoot by student paid tribute to the more than 2.8 million carers across Australia who donate their time to caring for the sick and elderly. Carers play a huge role in supporting families through tough times of sickness and unrest, where palliative care is essential for the health of the patient. These photographs illustrate the patients in black and white, with the carers in colour to highlight the importance of the carers who give their lives to supporting the nation.
At Huxley we love raising awareness about important issues that touch the lives of many, in particular topics like carer services and organ donation that can often be forgotten.
